We just returned from our annual trip out to AZ to see Kerry's family and we had a wonderful week of sunshine and warmth! It was Kieran's first flight and for the most part, he did pretty well. He had some fussy times, but he was out of his routine and comfort zone, so I don't blame him. Plus, the only person who noticed was Kerry! Caleb did great, he was so excited to get to Nana & Papa's that he barely wanted to do anything on the plane so that got a bit stressful, but we managed. We were expecting Papa to pick us up on the curb, but he jumped out and surprised us at the gate! Caleb was thrilled! He had a fantastic time with them and always does. We couldn't get him out of their 60 degree pool either! The boy was freezing and quivering and wouldn't stay in the sun or his towel long enough to warm up, he was like a fish out of water! Crazy kid! Papa got him a swim vest which I think will really help him learn how to swim. He was doing so great and was so proud of himself! We got to spend some time with good friends and just hang out and relax. We satisfied our cravings for good mexican food and In n Out and we got out on a date night too!

t come to an end and I knew our week was creeping to a close. Its always hard to say goodbye and we often wonder if we will ever be close to family again. On our way back, Caleb asked if he could push a button and turn the plane around and go back to Nana & Papa's. I wish we could buddy. Every day since he has been asking to go back. I don't think he realizes its a 4 hour plane ride that costs more than what he has in his piggy bank! The best part of our trip is seeing how much love Caleb has for his grandparents which makes it all that much harder being far away.
