8 Months!

8 months already! What? Just a few days ago Kieran's (left) first tooth began to emerge. At this point, Caleb (right) already had his 2 bottom teeth! Kieran has been sleeping 12 hours at night this past month, something his brother didn't do til nearly a year old! Its been fun to compare the milestones. Kieran has already become a picky eater with certain vegetables. I don't remember having such a problem with Caleb. I was just telling Caleb last night when we had broccoli with dinner that he use to love it. Broccoli, Carrots and corn was his favorite dish. Gross, I know, but he loved that mix! Now, I can barely get him to lick a piece of broccoli! Its funny to watch Kieran gladly open his mouth for fruits, but clamps down with most vegetables!

Caleb continues to love on his little brother. Its his baby too. I love to see him kiss and hug and play with him. My favorite is when Caleb has to show us something Kieran is doing. "Close your eyes and come see." Whether he has tipped over, practicing crawling or standing, he is always so proud to show us!

This month we will take Kieran on his first flight to AZ to visit Nana & Papa. My hope and prayer is that it goes as well as Caleb's first flight and he is a dream baby. This may be too much of an expectation since we are traveling further and during his fussy time! We will be getting some family photos done by a dear friend http://kariedennyphoto.com who has recently taken up photography and certainly has made it her passion. She just has a natural talent for capturing great memories and I look forward to seeing the end result! Caleb can hardly wait to go on a plane to see Nana & Papa. It has been so long and he absolutely loves to fly! Having his own suitcase to roll makes it even more exciting!
