5 months!

5 months old today! My goodness! I am starting to see some differences in them now. Obviously Caleb had better hair. Kieran is somewhat thinner on the sides of his head, but thick on top, its funny! Kieran has regressed a bit in his wonderful sleeping patterns, but that is okay. I will survive. Motherhood, its what I signed up for and just like any other obstacle, this too shall pass right? He is so smiley and sometime giggly if you tickle him in the right spot. He found his feet recently and tries to suck on his toes, but those chubby thighs seem to get in the way, but I help him stretch so he can nibble!

If anyone can make him smile, its his big brother. He loves that guy. Caleb loves to get out all of his baby toys and pile them on top of Kieran, hoping he will play with each and every one! Caleb loves to give his brother hugs and kisses and to make sure he is comforted with his lovey, Giraffe Lou!

I tested Kieran with formula and some rice cereal yesterday. With his sleep issues, I wasn't sure if maybe he is not getting the nourishment he needs from breast milk alone. Who knows, but he gobbled both up! I remember when I first gave Caleb formula he freaked and I about had a heart attack! It was comforting to know that the transition will be easy once it arrives.

In all honesty, I do feel like going crazy most days at some point, but I have learned to manage well and keep my cool for the most part! Caleb has been a huge help to me, but he can also press my buttons! All I have to do is look at either one and I am reminded of the precious gifts they are to me!
